Fear - In the Bible, "fear" generally means a profound reverence, awe, and respect for God, rather than terror. Know as the "fear of The Lord," this attitude is considered the beginning of wisdom, prompting love and obedience rather than flight. Conversely, fear of worldly dangers is often discouraged, with scripture encouraging trust over anxiety.
